Garage Stock Privacy

Effective October 19, 2026. This notice applies to Garage Stock, the private inventory application operated by Supplement and Supply, LLC for its own business. It is separate from the online store’s customer privacy policy.

Information and purpose

Garage Stock stores item names, aliases, shelf locations, quantities, stock movements, usage rates, supplier stock and incoming-order information. When the company administrator connects QuickBooks, the integration uses company, supplier, item and purchase-order data to prepare and update purchasing drafts. Any sales quantities imported for usage planning are used for the company’s own inventory needs.

Storage and service providers

The inventory database and local backups are stored on the company’s Windows inventory computer. Authorized staff access the app on the company network. The local keys used to reach the existing private accounting program are protected by Windows account encryption. The company’s existing private accounting program retains encrypted QuickBooks authorization credentials and makes QuickBooks requests on the company’s behalf. That program uses ChatGPT Sites access controls and Cloudflare hosting; inventory purchasing details are sent to it to check and update unsent drafts. Gmail / Google Workspace delivers internal inventory alert emails; those emails include the affected item and stock status. Intuit processes QuickBooks requests under its own terms and privacy notice. The public website hosts information pages and does not host the inventory database.

Use and retention

Company information is used for this company’s inventory and purchasing operations. It is not sold or shared for advertising or used to benefit other QuickBooks customers. Inventory history and backups are retained for business records until the company administrator removes them. Disconnecting QuickBooks revokes further access but does not automatically erase existing local records or QuickBooks purchase orders.
